As a real estate photographer in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Smoky Mountains region of East Tennessee I have photographed many many properties over the years, most of which are cabins. Photographing cabins is truly one of my favorite things to do as a professional. It's kind of like going on vacation for a couple of hours. I get to soak in the peace and serenity of my surroundings, often with spectacular mountain views, while doing the work I love--taking gorgeous pictures.
I've decided to write a blog showcasing some of my very favorite properties that I've photographed in the last year. Sometimes my job affords me the opportunity to stay overnight in a cabin to capture stunning sunset and sunrise views that a property has to offer it's potential guests! If you are considering having new photo's made of a property you own, and your property has magnificent views, I highly suggest allowing a professional to photograph the property over a 12-16 hour period to show off the views at various times of day.
The first property I want to showcase actually has personal meaning to me. It's a 7 bedroom 7.5 bath"all king en suite" newly built in 2017 cabin called "Splash Manor". My family and I stayed in this cabin over a 3 day period during my wedding weekend. I can personally vouch that this cabin is luxury from top to bottom and even has an indoor pool! It's very central to Pigeon Forge, Sevierville and Gatlinburg and the views are just incredible. My family of 13 was more than comfortable in this beautiful cabin for 3 days and everyone wished they could stay longer. Plenty of room to spread out over the 4 floors of living space. The bedrooms are very roomy and each has it's own en suite bathroom. Check out the photo's below, a few I included from our wedding weekend :) The attached video is of my niece, Julia, playing the bagpipes with the Smokies in the background on the deck of Splash Manor.
